Whenever I mention the power of email marketing in my training or coaching sessions I almost always get a surprised response. Many people associate email marketing with spam, and honestly, I think that reputation is sometimes deserved. There are far too many brands, even now, who don't understand the fine line better helpful and hassle.
But, done well, email marketing can be one of the largest drivers of traffic and revenue. I recently came across the below infographic, lovingly put together EveryCloud, and I think it does a great job of showing where email can have serious advantages over other tactics. As EveryCloud says themselves, it may not be a new craze sweeping the nation, but it's a rock-solid, time-tested method to keep your customers hooked and coming back for more.
